Project Feed Berekuso

Project Feed Berekuso marked the third installment of the J-FORCE Ashesi Chapter’s ongoing effort to support and empower local communities through education, leadership, and wellness initiatives. Building on the success of Project Feed Agbogbloshie 1.0 and 2.0, this year’s event expanded its reach to Berekuso for the very first time, continuing a tradition of meaningful service and youth-led impact.

The program was held at the Berekuso Presbyterian JHS and brought together students, volunteers, and community members for an afternoon of learning, engagement, and support. Over 50 students participated in the event, creating a vibrant atmosphere of curiosity and collaboration.

One of the highlights of the day was an insightful health talk delivered by Dr. Sompa Otabil-Nelson, who shared practical guidance on personal well-being and preventive health. Her session offered students valuable knowledge to help them make informed decisions about their physical and mental health.

In addition to the health segment, the J-FORCE Ashesi team, joined by leadership coach Eric Kwapong Jr., facilitated an empowering leadership workshop. Through interactive discussions and reflection exercises, students explored concepts of purpose, responsibility, and confidence—skills essential for shaping the next generation of leaders in Berekuso.

The event concluded with refreshments and an opportunity for volunteers and participants to connect more personally. Many students expressed appreciation for the supportive environment and the chance to learn from young role models who are passionate about community transformation.

Project Feed Berekuso continues the legacy of J-FORCE initiatives by fostering growth, inspiration, and community engagement. The success of the 2025 edition reaffirms the power of youth-driven leadership and sets the stage for even greater impact in the years ahead.
